Information We Collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, the name you choose to give us, and whether you are signing up as a reader or an author. If you respond to an event invitation we send, we record your response. We also record basic technical information that comes with your submission, such as your IP address, which we use to prevent spam and duplicate signups.

We do not collect payment information on this site. No pricing shown here is charged at signup.

How We Use Information

We use your information to confirm your waitlist signup, to send you launch announcements and updates about PMTR, to invite you when access opens, and to prevent abuse of the signup form. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

Who Processes Your Information

Our email service provider sends our confirmation and announcement emails and processes your email address and name on our behalf. Our hosting and database providers store this site's data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Using it stops further announcement emails to that address. You can also email us at support@paymetoread.com and we will remove you.

Access and Deletion

To request a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email support@paymetoread.com. We will delete your waitlist record on request. Deleting your record also removes your place on the waitlist.

Data Retention

We keep waitlist information until the platform launch is complete or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We may retain a record of an unsubscribe or a bounced address so we do not email it again.

Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect this information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

PMTR is intended for people 18 and older. Please do not sign up for the waitlist if you are under 18. If we learn that a signup belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.

International Users

We operate in the United States. Information you submit may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will change.
