These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website (beta.paymetoread.com), the pre-launch waitlist site for Pay Me To Read ("PMTR," "we," "our"). By using this site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site. When the PMTR platform opens, a separate set of platform Terms of Service will govern your account there, and you will be asked to accept them at that time.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to join the waitlist.
2. What This Site Does
This site describes PMTR, collects waitlist signups from readers and authors, and sends launch announcements and invitations. It does not provide access to the reading platform, does not host manuscripts, and does not process payments.
3. Waitlist and Access
Joining the waitlist is free and no payment is collected at signup. A waitlist signup is a request for early access, not a guarantee of access. Access is granted in waves based on platform capacity, and we may change the timing, order, or size of those waves. We may decline or remove a signup that appears fraudulent, automated, duplicated, or abusive.

Any membership prices, plan features, or reward descriptions shown on this site are previews of the platform as currently planned and may change before or after launch. Nothing on this site is an offer of a fixed price, a guarantee of any feature, or a promise of any specific earnings. The full and current plan details live in the platform.
5. Communications
By joining the waitlist you agree that we may email you a confirmation, launch announcements, updates, and invitations. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to submit false or someone else's information, not to use bots or scripts against this site, not to attempt to access non-public areas of the site, and not to interfere with its operation or security.
7. Intellectual Property
The PMTR name, logo, text, and design on this site are owned by PMTR or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
8. Privacy
Our handling of information collected through this site is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
This site is provided "as is" with no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or availability of the platform or the waitlist.
10. Limitation of Liability
PMTR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Because this site collects no payment, our total liability relating to this site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), or the amount you have paid us, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify PMTR and its affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of this site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect when posted on this page, and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
13. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Except for claims that may be brought in small claims court, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or this site will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Las Vegas, Nevada under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to class or representative actions. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of joining the waitlist by contacting support@paymetoread.com. Arbitration proceedings are confidential, and each party bears its own costs unless AAA rules require otherwise.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
